Aadhaar is a 12-digit unique identification number issued by the Indian government to every individual resident of India. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UDAI), is responsible for managing Aadhaar numbers and Aadhaar identification.
Steps To Download eAadhar Card
Step 1:First visit Unique Identification Authority of India (UDAI) website.
Step 2:Enter your details such as: Aadhaar number, Full name, Pin code of your residential address and Captcha image.
Step 3:Click on Get One Time Password to get OTP on registered mobile.
Step 4:Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
Step 5:Click on “Validate and Download” button to download.
Step 6:Enter the password and click on submit to open the e-Aadhaar card.
Step 7:Your e-Aadhaar card will be downloaded in a PDF format.
Once you get Aadhar card, you can either take a print out of this document or store it in your smartphone for future use. Downloaded a copy of Aadhar card is acceptable as a legally valid proof.
