4.   Department General Information:

The Lead District Chief Manager has significant role in overall economic development of the District.  He shoulders the onerous responsibility of preparation and implementation of realistic Annual Credit Plan, which is the cutting edge for economic development of the District through harnessing the available potential.  He convenes DCC / DLRC / BLBC Meetings in consultation with the District Administration, Public Representatives and other stakeholders.  He plays a crucial role in allocation of targets under various Govt. sponsored schemes and facilitates in achieving the set goals.  He monitors provision of banking outlets in unbanked villages, implementation of DBT & EBT and overseas functioning of FLCs and R-SETIs.  He effectively participates in various District level meetings convened by the Line departments and also a member on several District level committees.  The LDMs is maintaining good rapport and liaison with RBI, NABARD, member Banks, Line Departments of District Administration, NGOs, Boards & Corporations.  This helps in sorting out the issues, if any, in effective implementation of developmental programme.  He convenes meetings of several sub-committees like SHG Bank linkage to have threadbare deliberations on crucial issues and to resolve the same.  He supports the member Banks in recovery of dues by organizing intensive joint recovery drives / Lok-Adalats in association with Nodal agencies of State Administration.

The Lead District Chief Manager plays a crucial role in allocation of targets under various Govt. sponsored schemes and facilitates in achieving the set goals.

Coordinates  with the Banks and implementing agencies of GoK/ GoI for systematic implementation of all poverty alleviation programs- Monitoring and reviewing Ground level credit to Priority Sector, SC/ST, minorities and downtrodden, attending complaints grievances.
